Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to clean up your mess quickly then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a mini map of your home and a few buttons on the screen to allow manual control.

Another standout feature is the S8's ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.

The mop's roller has several other clever features, such as docks that connects to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control the cleaning mode of your room and provide granular control using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free with mopping capabilities. It's one of many combination robot vacuums that have mops that are also offered at a lower price than the competition.

Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After  robot vacuum cleaners reviews , however, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.

It's worth noting that the mapping process can take a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels and had to flip over to free itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and other intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you adjust various settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place debris in a self sealing bag. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without falling. It struggled with fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin and dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. You can control all its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes smart carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance centre, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, which allows for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office clean. It can also reach all corners of my small apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.

It also has some outstanding standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also customize the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping features this is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option if you are looking for a robot that can perform regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a wide range of features including a self-emptying dustbin, an additional water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to pick up tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains faster than other models in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a sleek design.  robot vacuum cleaners reviews  wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it does a good job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It's also excellent at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than most of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and not linked to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
